Oh, hi there.
Thanks for stopping by! Allow me introduce our family; we are Alex, Tessa, Novalee, and Oliver.
Our story started in 2009 where Alex and I met through a mutual friend at a bowling alley. He was in the middle of an arcade game in the lobby upon our introduction; he did a double take and I pretended not to notice. He’ll tell you I pursued him but the truth is, it’s the opposite (duhh). We courted and were married by 2015. Our lives which had been centered around each other, our love for board games and competitive tennis, swiftly switched focus to this little nugget, Novalee, born in fall of 2018. I’ve never been so in love with anything or anyone (sorry, husband) in my entire life. Like any new mom, I spent the majority of my waking moment staring at her, and taking a million photos so I could continue to stare any waking moment that I’m away from her. An Instagram account was then created (see below!) so I could document every precious moment I possibly could, though even that didn’t feel enough. I need to elaborate further. I need a whole website. So here we are. And now Oliver has joined the bunch, arriving 19 months after his sister made her debut. That’s right, we currently have two kids under two (send help, please and thank you).
Welcome to our page, where you can get in the mind of a working mom, who has an unhealthy obsession with handbags, boba, and online shopping (hi Amazon, I love you), whose husband is overzealous about the latest electronics, woodworking, and overlanding (had to look up what that meant when he first said it), and the parents who cannot get enough of their two little monsters.
